Women at Evangel Temple are full of love for God, creativity, vision, compassion. We're learning how to follow Jesus—together. If you have a heart for other women, if you want to grow in your relationship with the Lord, if you are looking for fellowship—ET Women is the place to be!

What's Happening Right Now for ET Women?

Women's Ministries at Evangel Temple

Women at Evangel Temple have created multiple opportunities for service, ministry, and spiritual growth. ET has a strong Girl's Ministry that creates fun learning environments for children ages 3yrs through high school. Our College Women host a Bible study and small groups that attracts girls each semester and involves them in ministry both on the ET campus and off. Young Adult Women also have opportunity for Bible studies specifically designed for them, led by young adult women. ET Women supports and encourages all of these ministries, providing for intergenerational events, as well as studies and ministry opportunities for women of all ages.

ET Women are also proud to support MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers). Find out more about this ministry by clicking on the link under “Ministries” on this site.

For information about any of our Women's Ministries contact the church office (417-883-0676) and leave a message that will be forwarded to our leaders: Girls' Ministries—Marci Nance, ET Women—Pastor Jennifer Gale, Susie Martindale, Linda Neale & Myra Theriot, MOPS—Brandy Meier. You may also email Pastor Jennifer at jennifer@etchurch.org.

ET Women Ministry Calendar

Bible studies are at the core of Women's Ministries. ET Women typically offers three Bible studies in the fall, three in the spring, and one in the summer. College and Young Adult women also offer Bible studies, usually based on the school / semester schedule. Offerings and locations vary. If you want to grow in your understanding of the Word, and meet women who may become your closest friends, then plan on joining a study! ET Women studies are announced in the bulletin and a sign-up sheet is posted at the Welcome Center.

Our annual calendar may look something like this: Fall—ET Women's Kick-Off Event (intergenerational), Bible studies begin, Women's Retreat (intergenerational); Winter—Christmas Party, leadership and ministry planning lunch (intergenerational); Spring—Bible studies begin, outreach & ministry brunch (intergenerational); Summer—Bible studies begin.

Coming Up This Fall:

ET Women's Fall Ministry Kick-Off Event—Coming September!
Plans are in the works to go “off-site” this year and visit one of our city's most successful outreach and rehabilitation ministries: Cook's Kettle of Victory Mission. Watch a demonstration by one of their pastry chefs (holiday dessert ideas), sample a dessert bar, and hear by testimonies from those that are going through the program.
