Labor Day All-Church Picnic
Next Sunday, September 5
Mark your calendars now for our final all-church picnic of the summer season! Join us on the Corner House lawn at noon. Inflatables for kids and great food for everyone. Light for the Lost Councilmen will be preparing smoked meats cooked on site.
Cost is $4 for adults, $2 for kids, $12 for the family!
All proceeds benefit Light for the Lost
 
ET Nursery
Volunteers are needed for the toddler nursery on Sunday mornings (either service) and Wednesday evenings. Contact Amy Arsenault or the nursery counter helper for more info.

Connect Youth Ministries

Promotion Sunday School Switch — Now is the time of year when 5th graders become 6th graders and join us for the first time!

The Stand — Sunday, September 12, meet at the Youth House at 5:30 p.m., we return at 9 p.m. Admission is free. We will travel to the Expo Center.

Tribe — Want a place to express yourself through Fine Arts? First meeting on Sunday, September 12.

Fall WM Event, Mark Your Calendar!
On Tuesday, September 21, at 7:00 p.m. we will host the ladies of Teen Challenge as we share a salad supper. The theme for this event will be "Cooking Basics and Beyond."

1st Friday — We are bringing the whole church together once a month to worship and pray. Seniors, adults, students, youth and children will join together to seek God’s face and His direction for Evangel Temple. Join us on Friday, September 10, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary for this event.

2010 Giving
Thank you for your faithfulness in tithes and offerings. Your generosity to the Lord is greatly appreciated as we attempt to meet our budget. At present we are at 91.65% of our 2010 budget and 7.22% below this time last year.

First Responders
We are looking for volunteers to add to our first responders list. We are looking for people who are willing to be on call once a month to respond to emergencies by providing basic medical help and communicating with  911, etc. Although many of our ET first responders have CPR and First Aid training through Red Cross and or medical professionals, this is not a requirement. If you would like more information, please sign up at the Welcome Center.

Reflections — ET Women’s Retreat
ET Women head to Chateau on the Lake in Branson Friday and Saturday, October 29 & 30. Early registration is going on now. Payment envelopes, information, and registration cards are available at the Welcome Center! Women are welcome to 'pay as they can' using the Reflections payment envelopes. Registration and deposit is due by September 28.
